Sign-in sessions, security checks, language preferences, purchase state and settings for requested features use cookies or device storage. These support your account, security and the features you use. Turning optional analytics off does not disable necessary sign-in or security mechanisms.

For signed-in accounts, first-party product analytics follows the effective setting shown in Privacy settings, including the service default and your saved choice. When enabled, they may measure views, playback, prompt reveals, saves, shares, Remix starts, performance, and feature reliability. Analytics is not repurposed for advertising or personalized recommendations.

Personalized recommendations have a separate account setting from product analytics. Recommendation signals are stored server-side while that setting is enabled. Guests receive a non-personalized feed. Refusing personalization keeps a non-personalized feed and does not enable an analytics SDK.

Necessary server diagnostics support operation and security. Sentry client diagnostics, session replay and client log collection are currently disabled. Native store diagnostics follow Apple and Google platform settings.

Turn product analytics and personalized recommendations off independently in the account Privacy center. Turning analytics off stops new optional collection and PostHog delivery and starts the relevant cleanup. Clearing browser storage does not override a saved account opt-out. Necessary payment, generation, security and moderation records are independent of these switches.

This page describes the current Web service. Device storage, notifications and store payments can differ in other clients; consult the notice in that client. Relevant notices are updated when features or optional data uses change. Actual activation follows service configuration and your privacy settings.
